Playing Vlog up tomorrow morning.
I was able to sneak away and get in 9 hole before sunset yesterday and play the front 9 at El Dorado, a nice course where the have the long beach Open, a pro event.
The course was in good shape the greens were just a little slower and bumpier than normal because I started at 4:30 pm but all in all pretty good.
I played really nicely, birdied both the par fives after bogeys on 1 and 3. First hole was just from not knowing the green speed and on the 3rd hole some guys let us play through and after being a little embarrassed about setting up the camera while they waited I quick hit a dead solid pull a little left that bounced way left, chipped and 2 putted for bogey.
The next hole I hit a great drive and put it on the par 5 back fringe and chipped to 2 feet and made birdie. A few holes later on 7 I hit a perfect drive and went for the green with hybrid again and nearly dunked my shot in the greenside water but it skirted the wetness and was pin high I the rough. I hit a poor chip from there but made the 12 footer for birdie getting me back even.
Small sample size but I played really nicely trying to have a quiet lower body and transition.
