Tiger seems to be a lot mORE Tigerish now.

Why is tiger woods now playing pretty well after such abysmal play this season. I believe it is his tempo and his putting.

Day 1 he had a strokes gained of 2.96, in case you don't know that is remarkably good.

I don't like his base, I think his full swing stance should be a little wider and more grounded. Right now he gets taller and twisted up through the swing which is good.

His tempo is on point though and like putting, good tempo can cover a multitude of sins.

BOTTOM LINE, his tempo is much better and because of that his play had changed.
