My friend and professional writer Philip Reed and I have been working very hard on this new book about putting.
I have been giving putting lessons to Phil for a the last year and while we were working one day Phil said "Brendon we really need to put all this in a book!" and the project was born,
After having interviewed so many different top instructors about putting I really think I have found the common threads that will build the skills any golfer needs to be a truly elite putter.
To be extremely good at putting you need to be able to start the ball on line, have exacting distance control, precise green reading and probably most importantly a rock solid process. These subjects and more are all different chapters in the book with actionable advice on how to grow these skills. We took lots of pictures and try to make the book understandable for every level of golfer.
Other putting books and advice you get from teachers seemed incomplete to me. There were lots of drills, games and ideas about the stroke but I wasn't seeing a step by step process to develop real skill. I think we have done that in Elite Putting
Being a really great putter and gaining strokes on the green over your competitors is an amazing and addictive feeling. If you follow the process laid out in Elite Putting then dramatically improving your putting will become inevitable.

Here is a short behind the scenes clip from when Phil and I were shooting the cover. Phill was missing the putt low a few times and I showed him a modified points game Nick Cantlay showed me. I see regular golfers missing on the low side way too often so I am showing Phil a game that helps change your mindset about where to aim your putt.
