The key to having angle at p5.5 is having the wrists loaded in a way that the face will square itself giving the player a green light to keep the pivot moving and in turn unwinding the angles through the ball. When the players wrist conditions are mismatched the player is forced to begin squaring the face manually thus unloading the stored angle’s prematurely.

"The move" we are talking about here is making sure the LEAD wrist is MORE FLEXED at P6 (last parallel) than it was at address.
